Welcome, Beautiful Soul 💫

Hello, I’m Victoria with Sacred Spaces by Victoria.Welcome to my blog — and thank you so much for being here. Today, I’d like to share a bit about my journey, how I went from being a single mom working a traditional 9–5 job at an estate planning and asset protection law firm for 22 years, to becoming a business owner, entrepreneur, and professional organizer.

The Early Days 🌸

I’ve always been a lover of beauty, order, and harmony — even as a child. I was that kid who would reorganize her room whenever it needed a little “refresh.” I’d tackle every corner, drawer, closet, and shelf; rearrange my dolls, their clothes, and accessories until everything felt just right.

As I grew up, this became a yearly ritual — my own personal version of spring cleaning. Each year I’d go through my closet and decide what no longer fit, not just my body, but my personality. It became a symbolic refresh, a way to welcome the season of Spring, the season of blooming and rebirth. 🌷

The Sacred Practice of Refreshing Space

This tradition followed me into adulthood. Even after I had my own home, spring cleaning remained a sacred practice.

At first, it was all about sprucing up my physical space. I hadn’t yet learned — though I intuitively felt — the energetic benefits of decluttering and organizing, and how powerfully they can shift your mind, mood, and life.

Over time, this evolved from an annual ritual to something I’d do twice a year (and sometimes more), guided simply by how the energy of the space felt. I started to intuitively know when my home needed a refresh.

The Turning Point: 2020

Then came 2020 — a year of change for all of us. In the midst of the global pandemic, I felt a deep inner call to sell the condo I had lived in for 17 years and find a new space. That journey led me to my beloved home, Casita Arcturus, where my son and I moved in January 2021.

My new home had smaller closets and bathrooms, which meant I had to get creative. That first year was full of organizing projects — new storage solutions, redesigned spaces, and even a custom closet in the den. I reorganized again and again, always searching for ways to make our space feel more harmonious and functional.

When Organization Became Meditation

One day, as I lovingly folded clothes into a freshly decluttered drawer, I realized something profound: I was doing this not as a chore, but as an act of love toward my home.

I felt calm, centered, and even meditative — almost as if the space itself was guiding me on how it wanted to be organized. It was a beautiful, unexpected moment of connection.

The Universe Begins to Whisper 🌟

Later, when I hosted a gathering of friends and showed them around Casita Arcturus, they were amazed by how I had transformed my space — inside and out (the garden story is one for the next blog 😉).

They encouraged me to share this gift with others, suggesting I could make it into a business.

At first, I laughed it off, though their words stayed with me. Over time, others echoed the same message — even my son. I eventually discovered that “professional organizing” was an actual profession (who knew?!). And as it turns out, the Universe knew all along.

Each nudge, each compliment, and each whisper of encouragement was like a drop of water nourishing a tiny seed that had quietly been planted within me.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but that seed was beginning to sprout — and before long, it blossomed into Sacred Spaces by Victoria. 🌿
